This month, Michael is performing Bardolph alongside Bryn Terfel in the title role of the Robert Carson production of Verdi’s FALSTAFF at Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. Colvin previously sang Dr. Caius in the same production at the Canadian Opera Company.

From the ROH website:

Robert Carsen’s production of Verdi’s masterful comic opera is filled with wit, humour and sheer joie de vivre. Old, large and lecherous, Sir John Falstaff can’t resist the ladies. But they can resist him, and three of them plot to put an end to his advances once and for all.

Conducted by Nicola Luisotti; Cast: Terfel; Martínez; Keenlyside; Prohaska; Antoun; Lemieux; McLaughlin; Bosi; Colvin; Colclough
